A Proficiency-Based Curriculum
Through Community Connections, we empower parents and guardians with practical English skills, facilitating effective communication with their children’s teachers, and fostering active participation in both their children’s education and the broader community.
Community Connections
Within this level, learners are introduced to foundational English language skills through captivating thematic units and interactive exercises. In Level 1, the focus is on building vocabulary, developing language proficiency, and actively practicing the three modes of communication - Interpretive, Interpersonal, and Presentational - all within the context of real-life scenarios.
Community Connections
In Level 2, students focus on articulating detailed descriptions using complete sentences, expanding their vocabulary, and honing their ability to ask questions.
Community Connections
Level 3 strives to sustain language production, encouraging students to proficiently describe and narrate, critically analyze information, and contribute meaningfully to a variety of discussions and scenarios.

When we initially started, I remember thinking, “If we can get twelve people to come, I will be excited.” The first time, we had seventy. That was a surprise for me because when we normally do programs, it’s hard to get parent involvement. So, to see the many families invested now in this program, I know that it was something we wanted to spend our time on.
